On the 9th and 10th of July Johan Rambi attended the 3rd meeting of the Utility Cyber Security Initiative (UCSI) working group in Tbilisi, Georgia as representative of the EE-ISAC. This working group was established by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United States Energy Association (USEA) and the utilities of the Black Sea region to foster development of technical standards, utility management best practices, and the deployment of emerging grid technologies to assist Black Sea utilities in the development of a robust cyber security defense in light of the increasingly threatening cyber environment. Together with Massimo Rocca, chair of the EE-ISAC, Johan gave a presentation about international collaboration and how information sharing will lead to better cyber resilience of the electricity infrastructure. Furthermore Johan led a workshop with the representatives of the Black Sea utilities to identify the value model of a Black Sea Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) community.
